Schiano’s is our family's pride and joy! Not only have Sal and Anna watched their own children and grandchildren grow up and work in the restaurant, they’ve gotten to know many generations of families having served them throughout the years too. These customers and their families are more like friends. Many of them joke and say Sal has been around so long, he should be the next Bayville dinosaur!

We’ve had a front row seat to many changes in Bayville: to its businesses, buildings, technology, and people. Throughout all of these changes, our family has been here to witness it all, and proudly serve the community. 

We owe it all to our loyal customers and the community as a whole. Whether it was holding our ground during the great recession of 2008, surviving Hurricane Sandy (we were the only restaurant open during that time), or successfully adapting to doing business during the pandemic, we are grateful for our loyal customers and proud to serve them whenever they need us. By supporting each other, we weathered each storm!

This is why giving back to our community is so important to us. Over the years we have supported different events and charitable efforts to benefit schools, churches and organizations in the area…and even our community’s furry friends!
