Schiano's is Bayville's original pizzeria. Sal & Anna Lubrano have owned and operated this Bayville institution since 1970. Along with their children and grandchildren, they are proud to have gotten to know and serve generations of families in the Bayville and surrounding areas for over 50 years.


Many things have come and gone in Bayville during that time, but Schiano's Pizza is still going strong! We're proud to be Bayville's original Pizzeria...It's "A Family Tradition Since 1970!"

Our secret ingredent? LOVE! 

We serve a lot more than pizza, but our pies are what put us "on the map." Over the decades, our family has perfected classic pizza recipes and created some amazing specialty gourmet pies too (featured every Monday). Of course, we use only the freshest ingredients including homemade dough Sal & his grandson Brandon make every day.  Pan pizzas, Grandma pies (our Nonna's is the best!), Stuffed pizzas, Specialty pies... come taste for yourself why Bayville has been eating pizza here for over 50 years!

Our Family

A Family Tradition Since 1970

Schiano’s Pizzeria holds the distinction of being the very first pizzeria in Bayville, NJ., which was owned and operated by Mr. Schiano. In 1970, Mr. Schiano decided to sell the restaurant. Our nonno and nonna (Sal & Anna Lubrano) had owned & operated an Italian restaurant years prior in North Jersey. Having moved to Bayville and fallen in love with it buying the restaurant was a wonderful opportunity. They decided to keep the name Schiano’s out of respect for the prior owner, but Sal & Anna, along with their children and grandchildren, have owned and operated it since. Our family’s legacy will continue on for generations and generations to come.  That’s why we call Schiano’s of Bayville “A Family Tradition Since 1970.”

Our pizzeria restaurant has been here on Rte. 9 in Bayville for over 50 years! In fact, ours is one of the only remaining original businesses in the Berkeley Shopping Plaza. Please stop by to sample some of our delicious food in our cozy dining room, or get your food delivered or to-go.
